Egypt and UK exchange on Eco-Cities, Aswan, Egypt

Dr. Isis Nunez Ferrera, researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment at University of Westminster, was selected to attend the first Egypt-UK researcher exchange on Eco-Cities and Resilient Communities, held at Aswan, Egypt and sponsored by the British Council and the Newton Fund. 40 researchers from UK and Egypt came together to present their research on eco-cities and discuss its relevance to the Sustainable Development Goals and the New Urban Agenda. Isis presented her research on “Neighbourhood Ecologies” based on recent work in Nairobi, Quito and Cartagena.
